Unit Landing – Pull Quote
The Pull Quote component displays a visually styled quote with an optional photo in several layouts.
Options and Settings
- White, garnet, black or light gray background
- Image sizes and styles:
- 1/4 (1200 x 1200 pixels) in circle or square
- 1/2 (1200 x 1000 pixels)
- No image
- Image alignment with bar:
- Offset both top and bottom
- Align bottom of photo with bar
- Align top of photo with bar
- Align top and bottom of photo with bar
- Inset image
- Small or large size text
- Component alignment options:
- Keep top and bottom margin
- Remove bottom margin
- Remove top margin
- Remove top and bottom margin
- Include alt text for images for accessibility.
- Limit quote to fewer than 300 characters including spaces to retain impact.
- Use brief, clear quotes to maximize impact and readability.
- Make sure image has quality, proper resolution and scale for display.
- Follow university editorial style for quote attribution.
