Unit Landing – Card Grid
The Unit Landing – Card Grid component organizes content into two- or three-card layouts, usually pairing an image, heading and text with a link to a subpage. Cards can also be customized to include embedded videos, image galleries or a button.
Options and Settings
- Optional headline and intro text (250 characters or less including spaces) before cards
- Grid Style:
- 2 column layout (2 cards), 3 column layout (3 cards), or 4 column layout (4 cards)
- Sans or serif heading
- Static or animated
- Styling choices per grid item:
- Image (2 card - 1200 x 700 pixels; 3 card or 4 card – 1200 x 1200 pixels)
- Heading text (character limit 30-50 including spaces)
- Description (character limit 200-250 including spaces)
- Linking behavior:
- Entire card item or button only; Also link to a web page, video or asset
- Videos will automatically have a play button added by the CMS
- Avoid if any item is missing imagery.
- Link either the entire grid item OR use a button, not both.
- Make description text brief and similar lengthwise.
- If the card links to a video or a gallery of images, set that context in the description or button, if used.
- Items should have strong, similarly composed imagery.
- Images should be similar stylistically (not mixed) — subject sizing, crop, all color or b&w, all photo, icon or no image.
- Descriptive text should differentiate the items and provide context to linking page.
- Make sure image has quality, proper resolution and scale for display.
