USC’s Hazing Prevention and Education Coalition (HPEC) is an excellent example of a campus community joining together to develop concrete means of addressing a real concern on college campuses: hazing. Global problems like hazing require more attention than what is available in student conduct or fraternity/sorority life, and HPEC involves units across campus looking for new and innovative means of doing better in this space.

When students feel safe and supported, they thrive, and that’s why hazing prevention and healthy team building matter so much. Let’s all do our part to create a campus where well-being comes first and everyone feels like they truly belong.
