Dean's Advisory Council

The students who comprise the Dean's Advisory Council represent the voices, concerns and interests of the diverse undergraduate student body and provide suggestions for the development of the Office of the Dean of Students, as well as the university as a whole.

Purpose of the Council

  • Share concerns and interests of the diverse undergraduate student body
  • Provide suggestions for the development of the Office of the Dean of Students, as well as the university as a whole, particularly in the areas of university policy, campus events, safety and student involvement
  • Serve as a vehicle for information sharing and support among key student leaders on campus

 
Member Selection

The members of the council will be selected by staff members in the Office of the Dean of Students based upon their application materials and/or nominations from faculty/staff members.
