The University of South Carolina College of Nursing and Lagos University Teaching Hospital College of Nursing INSPIRE educational series is a global partnership connecting nursing scholars across continents through innovation, research and education.
The virtual series brings nursing faculty, students and clinicians together for shared learning, discussion and exchange across cultures and health systems. Sessions explore timely topics in nursing, healthcare and research while creating opportunities to learn from colleagues in Lagos, Nigeria, and at USC.

Students immerse themselves in the cuisine, language, and cultural traditions of the destination country, all while exploring critical global health issues and deepening their understanding of international healthcare systems. Through a combination of organized activities and free time for independent exploration, they will sharpen their problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities, fostering both personal and professional growth.
The College of Nursing’s Global Education Program is headed to Paris in March 2027 for an unforgettable education abroad experience. This exciting trip is associated with the 1-credit course NURS 590 – Special Topics in French Culture and Healthcare, offered in Spring 2027.
NOTE: Undergraduate students are also required to pay a $250. application fee to the USC Education Abroad Office. The Program Fee can be paid in up to three installments, if desired. Fees may be paid by debit or credit card.
