The University of South Carolina’s First-Generation Symposium is an annual celebration of the experiences, successes, and unique needs of first-generation college students. Hosted by the Center for Teaching Excellence, this collaborative event is supported by the Graduation and Retention Network (GARNET), the First-Generation Center, the Office of Access and Opportunity, TRIO, and Horseshoe Catering.
