Per Office of Undergraduate Admissions, in order to be eligible for consideration, students must have:

Minimum 3.0 GPA on all college work (Demand for this program is at an all-time high. All enrolled UofSC undergraduates who seek a nursing degree are first admitted into the College of Nursing's lower division. This does not guarantee later admission into the upper division nursing major. In recent years, upper division admission has become increasingly competitive, with admitted students routinely posting cumulative GPAs in excess of 3.25.) Students may not have less than a "C" in any science or nursing course. Admission to the program is selective; therefore meeting minimum GPA requirements is not a guarantee of admission to the college.

Keep in mind, application to upper division of the Traditional BSN Program is decided by the College of Nursing and application is only available one time per year in the fall term. In order to be eligible to apply in that term, you would need to have previously completed the following progression courses with a C or better grade and have a minimum Institutional GPA of 3.000:

Admission to the baccalaureate degree in nursing major does not guarantee admission to the upper division. Admission to the upper division is a competitive process and the meeting of minimum admission criteria does not guarantee admission to the upper division. Students who are not accepted to the upper division should talk with their advisor regarding the feasibility of reapplication. If the student chooses to reapply to the upper division, the student must submit a new application for the next admission date and must compete with the new applicant group.
