Staff at the College of Nursing play a vital role in the daily operations of a top nursing program in the country.

The Assistant Dean for Student Affairs is responsible for leadership and oversight of all aspects of the College of Nursing’s undergraduate and graduate student affairs activities. These responsibilities include strategic visioning and planning, problem-solving to ensure quality student affairs activities, development/ refinement of policies and procedures, implementation of effective student strategies, monitoring and quality assurance of student affairs processes and procedures, and communication strategies to enhance processes and procedures. Provides analytical and complex administrative support activities for the Offices of Academics and Student Affairs...learn more.

Program Coordinator will assist the Principal Investigator and research team in the recruitment of participants, conduct of participant interviews, data entry into the REDCap Study database and perform daily supportive administrative tasks for a research study funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institutes of Nursing Research (NINR) that seeks to improve current and future chronic illness management among adult African American COVID-19 survivors and their caregivers in medical underserved and rural areas of South Carolina....learn more.

The job requires working with grant personnel, the schools and community for effective program implementation. This position works directly with the Principal Investigator. The Program Coordinator will manage the budget, purchase supplies/maintain purchasing card, process travel, and oversee payment of invoices....learn more.

Potential Clinical Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (varies by course)

Position Requirements:
BSN Degree (minimum)
Two years in registered nurse practice (minimum)
