Professional Internship Seminar

The purpose of the course is to prepare students to seek, secure, and perform well in internship positions. Various job and life skills will be covered. Guest speakers from a number of companies in a variety of industries will address the class via recorded videos.

Learning Outcomes

After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

• List job titles appropriate for information technology graduates
• List of companies who hire information technology graduates
• Identify job skills needed by information technology companies
• Identify career paths consistent with interests of undergraduate students
• Describe the requirements for completing an internship in the Integrated
• Information Technology Department
