Downloading your Mobile CarolinaCard
Downloading your Mobile CarolinaCard is quick and easy. Most users can begin using their card on their phone or smartwatch within minutes. Follow the directions below to provision your mobile credentials to your device, or watch the how-to activation instruction video.
Once you activate your mobile credential, your physical CarolinaCard will be deactivated and can no longer be used.
Login and Authenticate
Search for University of South Carolina within the app and sign in using your university username and password. Complete authentication through Duo Mobile when prompted.
Upload Photo
If you are a new student or employee, upload a photo and a valid government-issued ID for identity verification. Returning students and employees do not need to complete this step.
Add to Wallet
Add your CarolinaCard to your mobile wallet and you're ready to go.
Accessing your Barcode
Most campus locations use tap-to-pay, while some services require a barcode scan. To access your barcode, follow the directions below.
Sign into App
Open the Transact eAccounts app and sign in with your USC credentials.
Access Profile
From your profile page, tap “More Information”, then select “Show Barcode.”
Show Barcode
Scan the barcode with the employee to access the service.
