Do you dream about covering the biggest stories? Want to cover anything from the White House to the NFL? Learn to shoot and edit, broadcast live, produce and anchor the news, and be prepared for a great career from day one.

You'll learn to report and narrate stories, shoot and produce video, and practice play-by-play and public speaking. You'll also work at big news events as part of your class schedule. As a graduate, you'll have colleagues at every major news network, National Geographic, NFL films and almost every television station in the Southeast.

What You’ll Study

After you complete the well-rounded Carolina Core and foundational requirements, you'll learn to report and narrate stories, shoot and produce video, and practice play-by-play and public speaking via your major courses. You may also decide to pursue a sports media concentration as part of your studies.
